One of the best parts about my job as a photographer is all the wonderful and truly kind people I get to meet…..and photograph. This couple is beautiful inside and out, and I am so happy I was able to capture their anticipation and love for their new little one that will be arriving in just a couple weeks! They are so excited to meet Baby Emerson, and I am very excited to meet him as well and photograph his adorable newborn face!

Stef and I took a trip up to Virginia this weekend to visit our wonderful friends Rob and Denise who just had twins! I was so excited to see the twins and hold them-I LOVE babies! They were born alittle early and gave us all a bit of a scare, but they have done great and are finally over 6 pounds. I definately got my baby fix in this weekend and was able to get some cute shots of them snuggling together peacefully. We are so happy for you guys and can’t wait to watch them grow!

I just have to say-I loved meeting this family and photographing their 4, yes 4, beautiful girls! They were full of giggles and smiles, and the twins, well, they were just yummy! Mom and dad were also so sweet and you could just feel the love all around during the session. Here are my absolute favorite shots from the session-Enjoy!

Around this time each year I always end up lying in bed one night reflecting back over the year, pondering what was and what could be. Well, that was me last night! I couldn’t sleep so I started thinking about how 2010 is almost over and the changes I would like to make in 2011. I realized though that there aren’t too many changes I want to make because 2010 was pretty fabulous! Stef and I have been truly blessed! We had the most amazing clients this year, and had so much fun photographing them all! I couldn’t have asked for a better year and I can only imgine what is in store for us in 2011! Thank you to all our clients who touched our lives in so many ways. We are honored that you chose us to photograph your beautiful families and we look forward to seeing you all again! I hope 2011 is filled with more brides, bellies and babies!

I met the Nilson family down by the old Church of the Cross to get some family pictures with their new baby Logan. He was an angel to photograph and boy was he a cutie! I couldn’t resist sharing a few more pictures of Baby G. and his parents. I just adore babies and he was such a sweet one to photograph! I love the candid shots of him and his mommy and daddy-just precious!

Welcome to the world little G!! We are all so excited that you are here and thankful that your entrance into this beautiful world was a breeze for mommy! Yesterday was a great photo shoot despite the knats eating us alive at the park. Little G. was such a trooper and I got some very sweet shots of his baby face. L. and E. you are going to be fabulous parents-Stef and I both commented on that yesterday while we were watching you soothe Little G. and try to get him to sleep. Enjoy every moment and every poopy diaper-they grow up so fast. Thanks for letting me capture his 4 day old face. We love you guys and are so happy for you. We look forward to watching him grow!
