I am an island girl at heart!  I live in  flip flops and sundresses all year long.  I crave the smell of suntan lotion and the taste of the ocean.  The beach is my favorite place to be and photographing people there  is one of my favorite outdoor session locations.   I have loved photography ever since I can remember and  recently decided to follow my passion and pursue it professionally.  I am an on-location, natural light photographer.  I love photographing in natural light as it creates images with a warm and beautiful glow.  My love for natural light photography developed while living in Hawaii with the breathtaking sunsets and beaches providing the perfect backdrop.  Much like Hawaii, the white sand beaches and beautiful scenery of the Lowcountry also make this an ideal location for outdoor portraits.

I am so lucky to have found the love of my life and enjoy photographing alongside my husband Stefan who also shares my love of photography.  Starting Island Love Photography has given us the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful families and create artistically candid images for them through the lense of a camera.  I absolutely love what I do and my goal during your session is to have fun and create a relaxed mood that brings out the true essence of the people I am photographing.     When I first look at photographs from a session, there are always the ones that make me say, “Ah!” because I know I have captured something special.  I want you to have that same feeling when you see your photographs for the first time and every time after that.  I shoot with my heart and put all that I am into capturing images that will touch yours!
