Our little Macey Katherine has arrived and is such a sweet addition to our family! We have loved having a newborn in the house again and treasure all the special moments as a family of four now! Marin loves being a big sister and is such a big helper to mommy! Life could not be fuller or more blessed!
Sweet Baby Gracie was a dream to photograph! I photographed her parents for their maternity session back in May and it was wonderful to see them again for their newborn session and meet Gracie! She slept for most of the session and barely made a peep so I was able to get some gorgeous shots of her and the three of them together! Much love and happiness to your precious little family!

You are 8 months old today-how did this happen? It seems like yesterday you were a tinly little bundle; now you are a big girl who is on the move all the time, giggling, eating baby food and imitating noises that mommy makes! Although sometimes I miss having a newborn around, I LOVE you at 8 months!

You are changing before my eyes, and each day is becoming more wonderful! Happy 7 months today babe!
We attempted to go back to the field of wildflowers with you this past weekend, since the last time we went we had to cut our session short because of the rain. Well, wouldn’t you know, just a few minutes into our second session, it started to drizzle again! But before it started to downpour, Daddy was able to capture these two images of us under a beautiful rainbow! You loved feeling the chilly raindrops on your face and giggled when you got all wet, it is a sweet memory I will never forget!
When I look at these images I am reminded of the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, and the lyrics, “Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue, and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true”. Daddy and I dreamed of you for 5 years and God knew exactly when the time was right for you to come into our lives. He blessed us with the sweetest, most precious baby! Even though it was heartbreaking to wait for you to come, and so many days I wondered if you ever would, now looking back, I am so thankful for the journey we went through. It has made me a better mommy because I will never, ever take a moment with you for granted! I hug longer, give unlimited kisses and soak up all your sweetness everyday! You are a pure gift from God!
You are my little wiggle worm these days! You are itching to sit up, stand up, crawl and walk on your own, but you still can’t do any of it without mommy or daddy holding you! Soon enough though, we won’t be able to keep up with you!
You are full of smiles all day long, until mommy brings out the camera and then I think you get confused about where I go. When I put the camera in front of my face you get this worried look, but, as soon as I peek around it and you see me, you smile big and are happy again! Soon enough I’m sure you will see that the camera is harmless and mommy is right there with you! We had fun today taking some pictures! I love spending all my time with you!
I can hardly believe you turned one month this week! Life is definitely a bit busier since your arrival, and mommy has never been so sleep deprived in her life, but I adore every minute I have with you. The quiet times snuggling in the middle of the night while you are drifting off to sleep, the sweet noises you make while you are breathing, and the softness of your skin; these are all the precious things I will carry in my heart always. You are growing so quickly that mommy had to capture all your little sweetness before you become a big girl!
