It’s Better at the Beach | Hilton Head Family Photographer
Wednesday, July 31st, 2013July has been a busy month, so we decided to dedicate all day on Sunday as a family day! We played with you, snuggled a lot , went out to dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant and then headed to the beach to play in the waves! We found a gorgeous spot by the ocean with these awesome rocks-it is now my favorite place for pictures! It was such a beautiful evening at the beach, I didn’t want it to end! You loved playing in the ocean with us, and cried when we had to take you out because the sun was setting. We are both so happy that you love the beach as much as we do! Here are a few pictures of our fun time together!

Sunday, July 21st, 2013Spaghetti night at our house is something I actually look forward to! It is messy, sometimes down right gross and a lot of work to clean up afterwards, but I wouldn’t trade the giggles and smiles for anything!!! We strip you down to your diaper, put a bunch of noodles and sauce in front of you and watch you go! At the end, we are all dirty and so is the floor, but the memories are priceless and so worth it!

Your favorite thing to do with Daddy is ride on his shoulders and have mommy chase the two of you! I love to see you smile and giggle with delight! Happy Father’s Day to the man I love!

Saturday, June 1st, 2013I still can’t believe a whole year has gone by since you were born! What a year it has been-and what a beautiful and amazing daughter your are! I love these three images of you-they are so funny (in the last image you dropped your pacifier on the floor and were not happy about that)!
We had so much fun with you on your birthday and I have many more pictures to share soon!
Grandma and I laughed so much during this cake smash session with you! It was hilarious to watch you look at the cake in amazement, slowly touch it, lick the chocolate frosting off your finger, and then completely devour it! I love all the shots mommy got of you, especially the one with your face covered in chocolate frosting! Happy 1st birthday baby!

Wednesday, May 29th, 2013I think we are going to have a hard time weaning you off your pacifier! I found you sleeping with three of them when I went to check on you yesterday afternoon during your nap! Two of them were tightly clutched in your hands and one was in your mouth-it was so hilarious! I just stood there quietly laughing because I don’t even know where you found them all-you must have had a secret stash somewhere in your crib!

Sunday, May 12th, 2013Being your mommy is a dream come true and so much more than I ever expected! I am beyond excited every morning to walk into your room, take you up out of your crib, shower you with kisses and see how our day unfolds together! As I pick you up each day, I feel you getting heavier and see your baby face maturing into a little girl, I am reminded how quickly you are growing up and I feel desperate to soak up your sweetness! During the quiet moments of our day when you are sleeping in my arms or playing peacefully by yourself, I find myself staring at you with a smile on my face and feeling so proud to be your mommy! I love you!

Wednesday, May 1st, 2013I can’t believe last year at this time I was starting to pack my hospital bag, we were finishing up your nursery and anxiously awaiting your arrival! Now, we are listening to you say mama and dada, watching you get ready to take your first steps and planning your first birthday party-how time flies when you are having fun!
One of your favorite things to do is play in bed with mommy and daddy! You love to play peek-a-boo under the blankets with us and jump on to our fluffy comforter! It makes me so happy to see you smile and enjoy playing. I remember when we got this outfit as a gift, it looked so big to me, I thought you would never fit into it. And here you are, fitting into it and growing up before my eyes. Part of me would love to freeze time and keep you my little baby, but the other part of me is having way too much fun watching you grow into an amazing little girl!
