Janet and Ken were married last Saturday at the Beaufort Inn in Downtown Beaufort. The weather made for a gorgeous day with blue skies and warm breezes ! All the arrangements were beautifully designed by Southern Graces and every attention to detail was thought of. The couple was amazing to work with and so much in love! The couple was beautiful, the wedding was at a breathtakling location, and the weather, simply fabulous-all the makings for a perfect wedding! Erin and David were such a sweet couple to photograph and what better location for a wedding then at Palmetto Bluff! Rachel and Waylon were a gorgeous couple to photograph an engagement session with! We did a love light session in Downtown Savannah and I LOVED doing this very different kind of session. I think I’m actually alittle addicted to love light sessions now and can’t wait to do another one. It was so fun roaming around Savannah in the dark looking for just the right kind of light. You guys were awesome! Congratulations on your engagement!
Ashley and Jamie were a fabulous couple to photograph, and what better place to do that then in Savannah! There were a ton of beautiful places to photograph them-every corner we turned was better than the one before! I love how relaxed and natural they were in front of the camera and really enjoyed exploring Downtown Savannah with them!
Around this time each year I always end up lying in bed one night reflecting back over the year, pondering what was and what could be. Well, that was me last night! I couldn’t sleep so I started thinking about how 2010 is almost over and the changes I would like to make in 2011. I realized though that there aren’t too many changes I want to make because 2010 was pretty fabulous! Stef and I have been truly blessed! We had the most amazing clients this year, and had so much fun photographing them all! I couldn’t have asked for a better year and I can only imgine what is in store for us in 2011! Thank you to all our clients who touched our lives in so many ways. We are honored that you chose us to photograph your beautiful families and we look forward to seeing you all again! I hope 2011 is filled with more brides, bellies and babies!

Our fabulous friends Dana and Mike were married this weekend and we loved sharing their special day with them! Dana looked absolutely gorgeous and of course Mike looked so handsome! Their ceremony and reception was held at Hampton Hall and everything was breathtaking! I loved photographing all the little details of the day-especially since I know first hand how much time and attention Dana put into making everything perfect! She put together this beautiful candy display in the reception hall and I literally felt like a kid in a candy store when I saw it and went to town photographing everything! We love you both and wish you all the wonderful blessings marriage brings!

I had the pleasure of photographing Leah McCarthy of Weddings With Leah. We headed over to Palmetto Bluff for the photo shoot and took advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Leah was so wonderful to work with and I enjoyed hearing about her wedding planning business. I can only imagine the dedication and attention she gives to her brides to make sure their day goes exactly as planned! I remember when Stef and I were planning our big day our wedding planner Lissa became my best friend and our day wouldn’t have gone as perfectly as it did if there wasn’t someone behind the scenes taking care of the details. I highly recommend her services not only because she is very professional, but also because she is a fabulous person!

Everytime T. and J. looked at each other you could just see the love and the sparks fly! They are such a beautiful couple not only on the outside, but also on the inside and they were wonderful people to work with. Stef and I feel so lucky to have shared their wedding day with them and had the opportunity to capture their love. Here are a few of my favorites from the day!

The ceremony was so beautiful and intimate! The wind was blowing just enough to keep us all cool and the sun was casting soft, dreamy light on everything. During the ceremony there were more than a dozen kites flying overhead in the sky-it just made the day that much more magical! And as soon as they were married J. swept T. right off her feet!
The bridal party was a blast to photograph on the beach!

I love, love, love anything that has to do with weddings so I really enjoyed attending D’s bridal shower last weekend over at Berkeley Hall. There was a great group of ladies that came out to celebrate a special day for D. and we had a wonderful time. D. and her fiance are good friends of ours and we are so excited about their wedding coming up in November.
I did a fabulous bridal shoot today with C. She looked stunning and we found some really cool spots to capture her in her dress. We finished up the session just in time to miss the big storm that was rolling in. C. you looked breathtaking today and were so fun to spend the afternoon with!
