You have the best Daddy in the world! I love these pictures from Father’s Day last year and this year! You have grown so much in just one year and so has our love for you! Your favorite thing to do with Daddy is ride on his shoulders and have mommy chase the two of you! I love to see you smile and giggle with delight! Happy Father’s Day to the man I love!
Mommy has been so busy photographing all the wonderful beach sessions and weddings with our clients that this blog post is way overdue, but I am slowly catching up on our family pictures!

Being your mommy is a dream come true and so much more than I ever expected! I am beyond excited every morning to walk into your room, take you up out of your crib, shower you with kisses and see how our day unfolds together! As I pick you up each day, I feel you getting heavier and see your baby face maturing into a little girl, I am reminded how quickly you are growing up and I feel desperate to soak up your sweetness! During the quiet moments of our day when you are sleeping in my arms or playing peacefully by yourself, I find myself staring at you with a smile on my face and feeling so proud to be your mommy! I love you!

You are full of smiles all day long, until mommy brings out the camera and then I think you get confused about where I go. When I put the camera in front of my face you get this worried look, but, as soon as I peek around it and you see me, you smile big and are happy again! Soon enough I’m sure you will see that the camera is harmless and mommy is right there with you! We had fun today taking some pictures! I love spending all my time with you!

I can hardly believe you turned one month this week! Life is definitely a bit busier since your arrival, and mommy has never been so sleep deprived in her life, but I adore every minute I have with you. The quiet times snuggling in the middle of the night while you are drifting off to sleep, the sweet noises you make while you are breathing, and the softness of your skin; these are all the precious things I will carry in my heart always. You are growing so quickly that mommy had to capture all your little sweetness before you become a big girl!

I can tell already that you are going to love being in front of the camera because I captured these two precious images of you very quickly before needing to take a rest and you didn’t cry or fuss at all. As I sit here writing this, you are sleeping soundly next to me and I can’t believe you are ours. We waited so long for you to come and now that you are here I can’t imagine what life was like before without you. Daddy and I keep staring at you, looking at each other with tears in our eyes and whispering, “she’s perfect!” There is so much we dream for you little one.
